Mackie has signed for QPR today. For lets guess.................... an undisclosed fee, what a shocker.

Waiting to hear a whif of how much as 25% goes to Exeter City - or so they all tell me up here.
Other than that, I have to say I don't care much. I thought he was part of the problem this year.

Great at running forwards very fast, but 16 goals in 102 games is not much to show for all that laudable effort.

Which Mackie was he?
Not the one who used to play for Man City?
Actually now I think of it I think that was "Macken"
*Backs slowly out of thread*

£500k apparently. For somebody so erratic, unproven to the outside world and with a dreadful scoring record I'm thinking that isn't too bad a price. 20% goes to Exeter City though (who, Jules, he did used to play for )

That is a depressing amount, if true. A Championship striker should command at least £1.5m even if a headless chicken.

He'll be a squad player, making an impact off the bench like he may have in a decent Argyle team. Never worth a million until he achieves something.
