Bloody hell! My best friend supports York, she wasn't there today though fortunately. That's disgraceful.

Fucking twats No doubt we'll get the book thrown at us for this, and frankly we'll deserve it with dickheads like that in the crowd. I hope they think what they've done to the club was worth it; with any luck they'll get found and have a lifetime ban put on them, if not a prison sentence. Totally needless, and I agree with GB - subhuman scum

Shocked by that, and lets not also forget the morons from York who were clearly visibly enjoying the occasion too.
All I ever meet at football are decent folk - even yesterday in our pointless already relegated non-battle with Peterborough. Football fans are laid back, sardonic, good humoured folk; there's no room for these morons.
When we let Newcastle celebrate their Championship at Home Park the Argyle fans stayed and applauded. We might be crap, but we have some dignity.

The word going round is that those lot were an "outside element" who hadn't been to any other matches, but decided to turn up purely to cause trouble - allegedly, it was all planned on Facebook. Surely someone would've tipped the police off if that were the case, though? I should've been feeling disappointed about not getting to Wembley right now, but in truth I just don't care. That "incident" has totally ruined any interest the football itself may have held for me.

That "incident" has totally ruined any interest the football itself may have held for me. And that's a tragedy in itself. We should have the right to feel sadness about the downsides to the things that entertain us secure in the knowledge that ultimately it doesn't really matter on the broader scale of things. When you get let down by your fellow 'community', or elements of it, and decency is undermined, you are left with the nasty empty feeling of genuine disappointment in something of consequence. For what it is worth, we look at these idiots getting their platform at our expense and all share in your sadness. Fact is the quality of the world is undermined to too great an extent by the number of stupid, ignorant people in it who somehow failed to develop the same values that keep the rest of us together. Or am I just being too bleak? Not like me...

I've been going to watch york for about 30 years now and i have never witnessed anything that came even close to yesterday. Things didn't look good when i saw fans clashing outside the pub we were in round the corner from the ground just before the match, but didn't for 1 second think it would escalate into that at the end. Shame what should have been a great day out finished on such a sour note. York had our share of idiots trying to get involved at the end but ultimatly its luton who are going to get punished for this. Many, including myself, think that any punishment given is deserved, but i do feel sorry for the genuine fans who are now going to see their club punished again through no fault of their own.

I won't deny that the club deserves to be punished, if only because there was plainly not adequate stewarding/policing to contain the fans (though I don't suppose they actually expected that sort of outcome for a second). I wonder how proportionate it'll be, though, when compared to other incidents this season?

I'd be amazed if anyone could of predicted the scale of what happened after the match. Although understaffed the stewards and police did a very good job yesterday. If they decide to make an example of them (which wouldn't suprise me, given todays stance on such conduct), then i hope they do the same with sheff weds as well, though we won't know what that will be for a while yet i think. Hopefully those responsible will be caught and punished accordingly, much as i feel bitter after yesterday, i do feel sorry for the real luton fans who are again probably going to see their club suffer for events that were out of there control again, due to the minority of halfwits that infect all clubs today.
