Jen I think it's a great idea to reduce the boards down. Give us a place to talk nonesense and our own places to rant about football (get ready to move Wednesday to League 1). As Jules and I were discussing the other day 606 is like a comfy old pair of slippers that you just can't bear to part with. Aah, I like that So if we can get an idea of the boards we want to go, then I'll get on it and start removing

And yet, with the exception of Facebook, it is the last place where those of us who frequented the old 606 and LNF know that we can still find each other. Facebook may be more dynamic, but it is the lack of dynamism which allows this board to function - a topic posted one day can still be easily commented on the next without having to wade through the pages of pointlessness that dominate so much of Facebook. Worth clinging on to, I think. Great point that, plus I don't even bother with Facebook now so this is my last hope! I think the old LNF faithful need to be targetted with a return to the boards, then back to promoting the place to the public once again when hopefully its back in business Can we find JK? He was a legend! Oh and Mrs Irons

So I propose we get rid of the 'Live Scores' board - no-one uses that, right?
In Off The Pitch, I reckon the Chat one can go. What about the Video games one? Last post was back in December. Perhaps we should keep the Predictions boards and start them up again if we get more members?
I think maybe the Quizzes board can go too and maybe the Hotseat? But if people want to save some of the threads in any of the boards, I could make an Archive or 'Sentimental' board and bang them all in there?
What do you reckon?

Just had a look at the Analytics for this board and we got 166 visitors to the board yesterday! And today we've had 629 page views. Ooh.

If, as it seems, people are creeping back I think that we may like to keep the Hotseat so that we can taunt people with it at a later date A sentimental board is a good idea. The whole RBNO heap could go in there? So sad if it were deleted.

I'm in two minds about the hotseat histories... part of me wants it archived, part wants the record destroyed! ;D I don't know really... if in doubt chuck it out they say...

SHUT IT YOU JEALOUS GIANT! Why have you become a Forest Glory-fan Cav? I fancy Blackpool to beat Forest in the playoffs, if it works out like that...

Forest were my first ever team at about the age of 8. I have followed Reading as they are my local team. If I was a glory fan I'd support Man Utd or Chelsea!

A sentimental board is a great idea. Hotseat must defintely stay. It's the only real reminders we have of the early people like Shippers and Kman.

To an extent, the whole board is a sentimental board! ;D I might start another "homage to 90s dance music" type thread... or a Britpop one, whichever people prefer...! Shippers is doing well with his musicky pursuits I gather... do you still talk?
