United boss Simon Grayson was delighted to complete the loan signing of central defender Neill Collins on Tuesday. The 26-year-old, who cost Preston £600,000 from Wolves in January, brings a wealth of experience, listing Sunderland among previous clubs. Collins made 27 appearances during Wolves promotion season last term and impressed during a loan spell at Preston this season.
We need a midfield general now...Anyone have a phone number for Barcelona's Lionel Messi...we need a miracle in midfield

Collins will be a good player in League 1. He's not blessed with pace and can be uncertain with the ball at his feet, but he's excellent in the air and will add a threat at set pieces.

We've signed the young Arsenal player, Sanchez Watt. Striker/winger apparently. He's quite good, hope he gets to show his stuff for you ...............NOT THAT STUFF !!! seriously though>> Young forward Sanchez Watt has today joined League One side Leeds United on loan until the end of the 2009/2010 season. 18 year-old Sanchez made a memorable first-team debut earlier this season. Being named in the starting line-up for the Carling Cup Third Round match against West Bromwich Albion, the London-born striker impressed throughout the match and rounded off a fine performance by scoring Arsenal's first goal in the 2-0 home victory. Sanchez, full name Herschel Sanchez Watt, featured in all three Carling Cup matches this season. In addition to his scoring debut against West Brom, Sanchez came on as a substitute in the home victory over Liverpool and the away defeat to Manchester City. The young striker was also in the first-team squad, as an unused substitute, in the away UEFA Champions League victory over Standard Liege in September. Sanchez, who has been prolific for the Reserves this season, scoring five goals from his nine appearances, was also a key member of Arsenal's Under-18 double-winning side last season. Equally comfortable on the wing or up front, he appeared in all eight of the FA Youth Cup fixtures, netting a brace in the Semi-Final before striking in both legs of the victory over Liverpool in The FA Youth Cup Final. Sanchez joined Arsenal as a scholar in summer 2007, signing professional terms with Arsenal a year later in summer 2008. His fine performances were rewarded in November, when he signed a new long-term contract with the Club. Sanchez, who spent February on loan at Southend United, will immediately join up with Simon Grayson's squad for their top of the table clash at Norwich City on Saturday. Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Sanchez the best of luck during his time with Leeds United.

Cheer up LFS, just as all good things come to an end so must all bad things. I'm not saying we'll beat Norwich, but I hope the new additions can have the required effect to bring out a good fighting display and maybe a draw to up the spirits for Swindon. Just don't take all the pills at once if we bomb - I might neeed a sub ;D
