Interesting interview with Brian Mawhinney on Late Kick off last night about the wage capping issue. Apparently it's the Championship clubs that are objecting to it.
I find it interesting to justify that one individual could be worth more than an entire club in the lower leagues. I've heard pundits justify that paying football players these high wages it justifiable because not everyone can do their job. It's based on natural talent and can't be learned. Where as a politician or a business person's job can be learned. Not sure how much I agree with this.
Should we be wage capping to stop clubs nose diving into administration? Should the FA take more responsibility for regulating club finances?
