Warnock could also be an option?
I'm interested in Bridge's reasoning behind pulling out: "It has always been an honour to play for England. However, after careful thought I believe my position in the squad is now untenable and potentially divisive.
"Sadly therefore I feel for the sake of the team and in order to avoid what will be inevitable distractions, I have decided not to put myself forward for selection."
The comment he makes about distractions leaves me wondering whether he means he won't want to work with Terry or whether he feels the rest of the squad will be observing those two. Either way, it's a shame that he won't be playing but he knows along with everyone else that if only one player out of himself and Terry could be picked then Terry would be chosen every time.

I'd quite like to see Warnock at left back. I reckon he could be alright.

You clearly have hit upon the secret formula for triggering discussion here!
I think Ashley Cole will be fit. I can tell that from here.

Meanwhile the England U-21's are getting beat 0-2 by Greece. 20 mins left in the game and England have been very uninspiring, Greece playing a great team game. If England lose it'll be their first home defeat in four years. Teams:
