Ok so the club have offered him etween three and 5 year contract for the business support role, which seems ludicrous to me but hey ho. He is not signing it at the moment which was confusing me and then today there is a link with him and the sheffield wednesday job. Now I am not sure how true that is after they sacked him before and his obvious record of form with us (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha) but it seems very convenient timing that he is stalling a contract when a link to another job comes up. The plus side is if he goes to wednesday that he can keep them below us in the table.
On the flip side, more doom. It appears that the Japanese contingent have not actually paid for their shares yet, they have given a lump payment of around .5 million and have promised to lend the club £1m to get the embago lifted but that hasnt arrived and it is late. I have heard that there is a possibility that they want out and are going to try and sell for what they bought for. This is not good news as the price they paid was over the odds. Could this be another case of someone not realising how much money a football club can drain before it starts to make anything.

Surely if Sturrock thinks he is going to get another job in football management he has lost the plot?!? As for the second point, I refer you to the anthems for a doomed season thread where we all posted our favourite utterly miserable music. The whole Japanese take over story never quite rang true and nothing tangible seems to have come from it...
