So Just to Sum up: Sheffield Wednesday FC, Hillsborough - Most of the Ground needs to be sent to the scrapyard, looks like its stuck in the 70s - Who's going to pay for all their needed Ground improvements!? ------------ our bid has just become a joke. Errr it's already been agreed in the summer and we've got £22 million to refurbish the ground. is this magic mystical monopoly money from your chairman? .... he's put so much in so far.

Elland Road definitely needs development. The leg room is absolutely appalling. I don't mind Hull not getting it to be honest, I wasn't bothered either way, but I am just thinking in comparison to Plymouth, as Mort has mentioned, how would they fill a 40,000 stadium? It's a nightmare to get to, I mean at least Hull has a major port which would work for Scandinavian countries, Holland and Belgium etc. City wouldn't fill a 40,000 seater stadium either admittedly, but I'm sure we'd get a bit closer to it with being a Championship/Premiership side. Either way, Mawhinney is still a dick. Wait - what? Plymouth doesn't have a major port? Regular ferry links to Spain, France and Holland? Mawhinney is still a dick though Hull's port is majorer. But granted, I knew y'all had a port, just didn't realise on the same scale. Either way I stand by my point. Nothing against Plymouth of course.

Plymouth is still awkward to get to regardless of being a port....

At least with the KC you can take one road from the motorway and you're pretty much at the KC, so you don't have to see the rest of Hull. ;-)

One road from the bypass, through one of the nicest areas in Plymouth and your at Home Park.
And the great thing about plymouth is that all the shit bits are in the corner, away from public view.

That's a lie. On the train the whole of Plymouth looks awful!

Unlike Reading, which looks like Eden itself from the train. Just like almost any other city in the world...
Wait a minute - if you got the train THROUGH Plymouth that means you've been to Cornwall!
Bugger. Cornwall's been tainted.

I think the raised eyebrows at Plymouth and the despair at MK pretty well sum up what most of British football thought...
