On BBC Sheffield they weren't too happy about a Blade fan phoning up to congratulate Billy Sharp on scoring against Wednesday....
... 5 minutes late they interviewed Sharp who said being a Blade he's over the moon to score against Wednesday ;D
*Irony*
Its a shame we don't play better football, as Billy Sharp would be a Blades' legend in such a team.

I got what I asked for. That was a derby-like performance. We were dogged, resilient and committed. "The commitment was 100% and I've said to the players it doesn't matter what happens in terms of games, if you put that effort in we'll turn it round. "We've got to believe. The fans believe we can do it, they were outstanding." You're having a fucking laugh Brian aren't you? ?

The Owls that went to the game who phoned up praise or grumble were generally very position so.....
.... the ones who hadn't gone weren't.
I'm not sure what you expect from Laws; you don't spend any money, you don't have a big wage bill, and you've a chairman that lies about how much he can/will invest....
... he can't magic good players out of nothing!

He's had enough money and bought shite. we're paying Jeffers 10k a week to sit on the bench and be generally pointless. He bought Tommy Miller who has played about 2 games since signing and not even full game.
We could have bought/loaned better players but we haven't.

I don't think I am. We've been average for a few seasons and that's been a step up for us. I was content with midtable mediocrity but we've taken a severe step back this season.
The Chairman's honeymoon period is over too. The 'investment' that was so sure we were getting is just not materialising and now little things are starting to creep in that make me uneasy. Season ticket holders are being asked to purchase their season tickets for next year before the end of Feb to get the discounted rate. This hasn't been fully advertised, you can only find out if you visit the website. So they're asking fans to stump up £450 just after the Christmas bills start to roll in and not even knowing whether we're still going to be in the Championship. Strafford needs to stop with the words and needs some actions that benefit the fans as well as the club.
