Hardly a rout was it? Two lucky deflected goals after 30 minutes of play when we were the better team.

Well as a spurs fan you should know how it feels being in the bottom three before xmas. difference is we got out, you are going back to where you belong ;D Oh dear. The difference is that you've spent millions accumulating a squad of players/rejects (from the top 4) and what have you got to show for it? One Carling Cup and early season relegation form on numerous occasions. How does it feel to live in the shadow of your north London rivals for so long?

Spurs spent £119.3m in the year ending June 2009, with another £29.4m invested since on the likes of Peter Crouch, Sebastien Bassong and Niko Kranjcar.
It eclipses the sums paid out by each of the 'big four' of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Sums it up really, you spend more than them but fail to finish above any of them. West Brom play in the "Championship", Blues finished second last season 'below us" and we drew with Villa and outplayed them in most periods this season. Arsenal have finished above you for decades and play some attractive footy that only you spuds could dream of. ;D
