Mr. Kroenke currently sits at 29.9% TAKEOVER GUIDELINES - Once someone reaches a 30% shareholding in a company they are deemed by the Takeover Panel to have "effective control" of the firm and must then make an offer for the remaining shares
- The price offered cannot be lower than the highest price the offerer has paid for shares in the firm in the previous 12 months
- If, after the offer has been made, the offerer has more than 50% of the shares they are deemed to have been successful in their takeover and legally in control
- If an offer is unsuccessful and the 50% shareholding level is not breached then the offerer cannot come back with another takeover attempt for 12 months, unless invited to do so by the company

Stan Kroenke has bought 25 more shares in Arsenal and is within 17 shares of the threshold that would force him to make a takeover bid.
US billionaire Mr Kroenke, a director at the club, now holds a 29.9% stake.
Takeover guidelines in the UK state that if a shareholder's stake in a company reaches 30%, he or she has to offer to buy the entire stockholding.
Mr Kroenke has gradually increased his stake in the club this year but has declined to comment on his intentions.
Mr Kroenke already owns the NBA's Denver Nuggets basketball side and the Colorado Rapids MLS football team.
He paid £212,500 for the 25 shares.
Arsenal's second-biggest shareholder is Russian tycoon Alisher Usmanov, who owns about 26% of the club's shares.....not sure how I feel about this quite yet, if you look at Stan's other sports teams records.... The Nuggets are leading their division at the moment while the Rapids finished 6th in their division missing the playoffs for the 3rd straight year in a row.
Question is: If he reaches 30% & makes an offer for the rest of the shares will the offer be accepted or rejected? And if it is accepted will he be willing to pony-up the cash to help Arsenal succeed?
