Sheffield United will travel to the Riverside Stadium for their opening game to take on relegated giants Middlesbrough. Last year's play-off finalists face a stiff task against Gareth Southgate's side who will be hoping to bounce back to the top flight at the first time of asking. After disappointingly losing out at Wembley, Blackwell's side will be hoping to bag automatic promotion this time out. Their opening game will be far from easy, though, with Boro eying a winning start in the second tier of English football. Home ties against Watford and Championship new-boys Leicester will follow for the Blades before another tricky away fixture against Reading. ---------------------------------------------------- All i really have to say to this is "GIANTS!?" WTF?! they're a smaller club than us ffs

Sorry, I don't remember writing that mate! In the cold light of day I can indeed confirm that Boro are minnows.

Based on last season's performances, I'm not certain that Luton'd consider Boro "a test," never mind whether Sheff Utd should!
