happy with Hobbs. class player who has improved radically over the course of the season. Great potential. Brown - not too fussed over. Will be no more than back up. Nielson is interesting and a little unexpected. Don't know much about him. Seems to be decent defensively but Hearts fans say he isn't up to much with the ball at his feet. Has a very long throw. I'll withhold judgement on this one.
2 main rumours - Simon Cox from Swindon (but they want £2.5 mill which we (rightly) won't pay. And Danny N'Guessan from Lincoln; a promising attack-minded winger.

Meanwhile, Liam Miller is being tracked by a posse of Championship clubs after parting company with QPR.
The 28-year-old, who spent only a short time at Loftus Road after joining the wealthy Londoners from Sunderland in January, spent last week training with Cork City in order to maintain his fitness ahead of international duty.
Preston have already expressed an interest, while Cardiff are also in the frame, along with Nottingham Forest and newly promoted Leicester City.

Chris Weale from Bristol City
Leicester City have made Bristol City goalkeeper Chris Weale their fourth signing of the summer. The 27-year-old has been on City boss Nigel Pearson’s radar for some time and has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Foxes to Pearson’s delight.
“Chris is a player who we have monitored and has been on our wish list for quite a while now. He has had limited opportunities at Bristol City and following a successful loan period at Yeovil Town we are delighted to secure his services.”
Weale began his career at Yeovil before sealing a move to Bristol City in 2006 and now sees his future at the Walkers Stadium, with Pearson clearly feeling that his new man has what it takes.
“Chris is desperate to succeed here at Leicester and we believe he has the ability and the mental strength to do just that.”
Chris Weale joins recent signings Jack Hobbs, Wayne Brown and Robbie Neilson in bolstering the ranks at the Walkers Stadium ahead of the forthcoming 2009/10 Coca-Cola Championship campaign.

Bristol fans seem to rate him, but is apparently quite injury prone. Sure he will face competition from another goalkeeping signing.
