...Leicester had just been relegated to the third tier of English football in their (then) 124 year history. After 4 dismal seasons of fighting relegation from the Championship, plenty of managers, and money squandered on fees and wages for less than average players, the club succombed to what was probably the lowest point in its history, from a footballing perspective.
...but 1 year later, I can't help but wonder if it was the best thing that has happened to the club in recent times. I've loved this season. Good home form, outstanding away form, traditional grounds, wins and goals galore. Time will tell, but the feel-good factor around the club now which hasn't existed for many years is back and I wonder if that fateful day last season was a blessing in disguise.

i saw nigel pearson last wednesday at lestoh train station *and glared at him from underneath my Sheffield United hat*.... i'm pretty sure he got on a train to Sheffield too

i saw nigel pearson last wednesday at lestoh train station *and glared at him from underneath my Sheffield United hat*.... i'm pretty sure he got on a train to Sheffield too It wouldn't suprise me. Pretty much all of that Ron Atkinson early 90's Wednesday team still live up here.
