Doesn't affect us in the least, no mark Stockport, I'm sorry I don't care.
If it were to happen to Newcastle on the other hand that would be funny. ;D

-10 next season then is it not applied immediately? Nah there was a deadline a few weeks ago. Basically to prevent what us and Boston did on the last day of the season. If teams went into admin before the deadline they got points off this season, if it's after then the points come off next season.

Hatters enter administration
By Chris Quinn Last updated: 30th April 2009
League One outfit Stockport County have become the latest club to enter administration.
The decision is likely to result in County being deducted 10 points as punishment by the Football League but with Jim Gannon's side currently 13 points clear of the drop zone it is not yet clear when the punishment will be applied.
The Hatters have been unable to pay back creditors, one of whom is owed £300,000, before a potential buyer could be found for the club.
Stockport had been looking to stave off this threat until the end of the season and as part of this plan, Sale Sharks, who share Edgeley Park, paid for the Hatters' policing costs for last week's fixture with Crewe.
However, they have not been able to survive for that long.
"I am absolutely gutted," County chairman Martin Reid told the club's official website
"To be so close and to have the rug pulled from under our feet is soul-destroying.
"We have been working around the clock for the last few weeks, putting together a package that would have guaranteed a secure future for County.
"After all the work by (financial firector) Paul (Cheetham) and (chief executive) Sean (Connolly) and the great support from Sale Sharks I can now only hope Stockport County will rise from the ashes.
"None of us are going to give up on County yet."
Two directors of a Manchester-based accountancy firm Leonard Curtis, John Titley and Paul Reeves, have confirmed they have been appointed joint administrators.
"We are keen to work with the board to explore all possible solutions to ensure the club's future prospects are protected as far as possible," said Titley.
"We are extremely hopeful that we will find a buyer for the club and are already aware of a number of expressions of interest.
"We are committed to working with the club's management team to resolve this situation as quickly as possible, balancing the needs of concerned creditors with the future of the club."

that report is from the sky website... Well there's a yellow ticker saying that the 10 points will be taken off this season. I presume the channel is more up to date than the website. They're on 50 points, but their goal difference is far superior to the teams around them, so there's no way they're in danger of relegation.

Lol then it seems different places are reporting different things. Unless some haven't been updated yet? Football League site says it'll be this season too. Although that doesn't even match what they've said on these issues on the past, so who knows!

SSN is right, its this season.
Basically due to a line in the rules which says:
"the Club would not be relegated as aforesaid, the points deduction will apply in that Season" - basically meaning if the 10 point deduction would not lead to relegation, then it would apply in this season.
Seems a but unfair when you compare to Southampton, as ultimately [the deduction] will have no impact. Unless the FL decide to change the rules as they go along again.
Not a pleasant experience administration, sure they won't be the last club this year.
As an aside, I think Lucas's remark is rather flippant.
