other glory days that need to be mentioned are:
Beating Lestoh 5-2 at filbert street to clinch promotion on the last day of the season (1989 ?)
The 2nd leg of the Playoff Semi Final Against Ipswich
The 1st leg of the Carling Cup against Liverpool (2003)
... maybe the first game in the Premier League when we beat Man Utd 2-1.

A bit more recent. In the days when we used to have a midfield capable of passing to our own players. "A quality goal from a quality player". Keith Eddy, Alan Woodward and Tony Currie all played in that match. What wouldn't we give now for just one player with their ability. Mind you, the goalkeeping department is a bit better now - Jim Brown didn't have one of his better days between the sticks! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr6-JDoAhjYAnd another (a couple of years earlier). Note Trevor Hockey (RIP) in the wall at the start of the clip. Very much a Montgomery type of player - except that he could pass. Imagine how good we'd be now if Montgomery could pass! What I find interesting is that the attendance was declared as being 38,184. At that time Bramall Lane's capacity was 55,000. Can you see where the other 17,000 are going to fit, because I can't! www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLs0cKm1ETE
