No it isnt CAV - they only get the 10 points this season IF they finish outside the bottom 3. If they are relegated anyway (without the 10 points) they get the points deducted next season.

So really they want to win those next two games and finish outside the bottom three so they don't suffer the points deduction next season in league one. Burnley will be a tough game, but Forest knowing Southampton are certain to go down gives them less incentive to win.

They're still down. You're enjoying seeing a club like Southampton go down then? I'm not. Similar feeling re Lootown, as much as I enjoy the banter it's never good to see clubs like these suffer such fates. I think there's a lot more than meets the eye on this one, will be surprised if no lawsuits are involved. Worrys me with our board-the majority shareholders are Graham Simpson and Lord Ashcroft, neither of whom are represented on the board and that's never a good thing.

Harsh punishment. Many other clubs even us maybe in the same predicament in the near future. Hope you bounce back or you could end up doing a Burnley. Guess this means we will probably get Rasiak permanently and on reduced wages maybe even Saga.

This global warming is strange old thing. Sunny and warm in Portsmouth. Minus 10 in Southampton.....

Well now even if an appeal is successful against the -10 we are still down. Just hope that the appeal IS successful and we don't start next season in L1 with a handicap.

every cloud has a silver lining Rich - just think of all the new grounds you can visit, and you may get a local derby with bournemouth in the JPT.

Sorry to hear this Saints, looks like you were down anyway with that draw.
No fighting on the pitch at our gaff next week though!
