As said in another thread, if we win that game in hand, we'll be 9pts adrift with 8 games to go. Assuming we get that win, we'd have accumulated almost as many points as those two combined (49 vs 55), so we've clearly got the squad to do it. It's just a question of whether we can do enough...
We've got a few mid-table games coming up against sides with nothing to play for, and administration talk is still swirling around Chester - so there's still all to play for right now!
I will grant that our last three games are against three of the current top four, but between now and then I think we can do enough to leave us needing, say, 4pts from those games to stay up - which wouldn't be an impossible task.
Looks like it's gonna go to the wire if we do stay up, though!
