Supposed to be joining us on loan as cover for our ever growing list of injuries. Ive always thought of him as 'steady' as opposed to outstanding and he's got a bit of a short fuse but just wondered what you lads think of him - can he do a job?

Supposed to be joining us on loan as cover for our ever growing list of injuries. Ive always thought of him as 'steady' as opposed to outstanding and he's got a bit of a short fuse but just wondered what you lads think of him - can he do a job? Done deal now Gres! BBC link hereYou are pretty much bang on in how you describe him really. A solid but not spectacular central midfielder, who can sometimes see red easily. The simple reason he hasn't featured much since the start of the season for us is that he fell out of favour with Rodgers as he didn't fit into our new style of play. He was useful last season in our playoff push but I think he has done as much as he can for us, if he impresses with you guys I'd expect him to join on a permanent deal, which would be great for us as we'd be getting a big earner of the wage bill. Funnily enough we actually have the opposite problem to you - an abundance of midfielders! Good luck to him. *Edited to say yes I think he can do a job for you ;D Savage has picked up in form recently, no? Maybe them two will form a decent partnership in the heart of your midfield.

He's not in BRs plans Gres. Bit injury prone.
He did well for us last season and was victim of two terrible decisions for a red card against Stoke and then in the playoffs against Hull which cost us the first leg (and earned my enmity of their manager ).
He's a big earner and recently has earned the title of John Useless but not really his fault.
Should do a steady job for you but about 70% of an Addison. The surroundings should liven him up. Clough junior is a canny manager and knows what he is doing.

Cheers lads! Spoke to my boss at work who's a stokey and they love him there - said if/when they get relegated he'd want him back! like you, he said he is steady, good in the air and a decent passer. May well compliment savage's chaos quite nicely. ;D
