Glad to see it back on Friday night, I thought Michael McIntyre was a brilliant host, in fact I think he's one of the funniest people on T.V. He doesn't rely upon being politically outrageous or really sexual in all his jokes which most comedians rely on, he just comes out with so many truths it's brilliant.
I thought the Welsh guy was great too, made me laugh a lot. The American guy had his moments but I'm finding that increasingly all American comedians do over here is rip into their country and it gets a bit repetitive.
Still, let the series roll on!

I agree! I love Michael McIntyre and I enjoyed the Welsh one, I can't even remember the American so he can't have been too good.

Everything about Michael McIntyre screams "tosser!" but I agree - he is excellent...

Dara O'Briain was great on Friday. Wasn't particularly impressed with Frankie Boyle, most of his stuff I'd heard before on 'Mock the Week' and some of his stuff I found just too crude.

Frankie Boyle spent the whole time repeating what he's said off Mock the Week. I have to say that when blended with Hugh, Dara, Rusell and any good guests Frankie is great. However by himself all his outrageous comments just seem to become a bit too much for me and I realised last night that all he does is try and say as many sickening things as possible. I can think of a couple of mates who would be perfectly capable of that, and Frankie Boyle would be nowhere without his dark Scottish accent to match.
Saying that on Mock the Week he has me in stitches sometimes. I think he's just better in small doses. Also, his line at the end where he said he dresses his daughter up in a T-Shirt saying "My mummy's dead" was one of the few that I found hilarious.
