Total bollox is this! Darren Moore got a 4 match ban after 'apparently' elbowing Hume while Hume was at Leicester. The incident was missed by the ref at the time, as was Humes reaction, yet the FA stepped in and banned em both afterwards for violent conduct. 4 games, which at the time effectively cost us automatic promotion! NOW...Morgan nearly kills the bloke and gets nothing! Proof that the FA are clueless fuckwits!

Charges shud be filed against him seeing as the FA have yet again failed to do their jobs which means the Police will now have to and all costs shud be met by the FA.

From what i saw of the callenge Hume ran into Morgan and encountered a brick wall. I think his momentum caused most of the damage. He was trying to out power what he couldn't.
Morgan DID however have his elbow up,albeit at his shoulder height.
Humes injury was just one of those things that happen in footy from time to time and unfortunately always will.
My opinion is that the FA have seen it this way too.
If you play Chicken on a railway line you could get hurt, just like running into brick shithouse defenders at full pelt could too.

Well I'm sure you already know what I think. Its pretty clear I'd say that not only was there clear swift movement of Morgan's elbow but also people don't fracture their skulls and suffer internal bleeding from running into elbows, no matter how big the guy possesing the elbow is. I've (and I'm sure many other when playing football) run into plenty of flailing arms while playing and never once come off with worse than a black eye. EDIT: I'll try find a picture of it somewhere, it was in the Daily Mirror a few days ago and it runs from his forehead in a horseshoe shape to behind his ear. EDIT #2: The quality isn't brilliant, but make your own decisions. Link.

What seems obvious to me is that the FA once again show inconsistency when dealing with these matters.
What is clear is that D'Urso booked Morgan for the challenge so he saw the incident as a foul with Morgan at fault for elbowing Hume.
Elbowing in the game should be outlawed.
Now either D'Urso is right - so because of the severity of the incident further action should be taken. Or it wasn't a foul in the first place and it was all Hume's fault so the card should be recinded.
Splinter's in the arse all round at the FA.

Don't get me wrong,i do not disagree 100% with either of you but i do not agree 100% either.
I doubt Morgan intended to injure Hume. I also doubt he thought that by standing his ground the way he did he would injure Hume. Morgan was standing and Hume was running, momentum causes injuries beyond the initial impact.
Yes,an elbow was raised and did undoubtably cause the horrific injury but,was intent their or was it just a clumsy challenge made worse by Humes speed?
The latter seem more likely than the former in my view.

But Hume didn't run into Morgan, yeah there was a lean in but no run or anything.
And I don't for a minute think Morgan intended to cause a life-threatening injury but I 100% believe he wanted to give Hume a 'message' if you get what I mean.

As stated by Patrick Cryne this week ' would the FA had reached the same outcome if it had been Cristiano Ronaldo or Wayne Rooney on the receiving end?'

2 points:
1) hume did run into morgan 2) the fa are a bunch of retards! - if they think morgan should have got a red card or should recieve further punishment they should do something about it.

1) hume did run into morgan How would you know I thought you didn't go or watch Calendar? Anyway, I think we could argue this all day but without the video of it, it won't really serve a purpose.
