Ryan Giggs admits that United's start to the title race has left little margin for error between now and the season's end.
Having won two, drawn two and lost two of the six away games in the league so far, the Welshman says it's imperative the Reds find some consistency on the road, starting at Villa Park.
Ryan told Red View this week, “It is important for us to win on Saturday. We can’t really afford any more mistakes as we’re already behind Chelsea and Liverpool at the top."
Giggs is mindful that Martin O'Neill's current young team won't make it easy for United, who are looking to extend a 13-year unbeaten run in the league at Villa Park. Victory over Arsenal last week proves the Villans can mix it with the big four.
“That result wasn’t a surprise because Villa can do that to teams," said Ryan.
"They have quality and pace and have been there or thereabouts near the top for the past couple of years.
"Martin O’Neill has added a few more players this season and they are a quality side. They have some really dangerous players, especially going forward - Agbonlahor, Carew, Ashley Young."
Cmon' You Villains !!!
