news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/7726060.stmLooks to me like the guy is worth the trouble & to be honest he hasn't been in much trouble at all over the last few years...... DIDIER DROGBA AT CHELSEA Appearances: 146 Goals: 81 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Drogba in trouble:Nov 2008: Faces police and FA investigation for throwing coin at Burnley supporters May 2008: Red carded in Champions League final after slapping Man Utd defender Nemanja Vidic Sep 2007: Sent off in a Premier League match against Fulham Feb 2005: Dismissed against Barcelona at the Nou Camp

Despite already being given a yellow card (which again, I think should make no difference) the FA need to make an example of him. What if the coin had hit an innocent fan or a child? Then what would the FA do? Different story I'm sure.
Didn't Carragher get sent off for a similar incident a few years back as well? Some consistency required I'd say.

Fairplay to him. If some C*nt threw a coin at me, I too would lob it back.
I see that Drogba is in trouble, but no-one has mentioned the Burnley fan who threw the coin at him in the first place???

He'll get (and rightly so) a ban, if caught. Why should Drogba not receive similar punishment?

Semi agree, the Burnley 'fan' is a disgrace and no one should have to put up with that. Throwing it back was at best foolish though.

Drogba is the C*nt! And what if Drogba had his eye taken out? Would it be acceptable cos he is a Chelsea player? Yes.throwing it back was stupid but players have to put up with all sorts of abuse during games, ranging from low key barracking to taunts about their wives promiscuity and their very own parentage. Yes they should ignore it but if someone randomly accused your missus of fucking about in the street you would lamp them one, only human to.

No-one can deny that Drogba was stupid to throw it back, he should have known better and he needs to take any punishment coming on the chin. However the entire sorry episode would not of occured if it hadn't been for the inbred dingle twat who chucked in the first place.

Two wrongs dont make a right.

If Drogba had seen who threw the coin i'm all for him going into the crowd and kicking shit out of them.
