Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray has signed Sheffield United's versatile defender Kyle Walker on a one-month loan deal.
Walker, 18, can play at right-back or central defence and will provide cover to the Cobblers who have lost Mark Little and Chris Doig to injury.
Gray said: "I am sure his versatility will prove beneficial to us.
"He has been a regular in the Sheffield United reserve side this season and he has impressed us whenever we have seen him play.
"He trained with us on Thursday morning and got to meet the lads and I am sure he will settle in quickly.
"He is young, athletic and I am sure he will prove to be a good addition to the squad with a busy period of matches ahead."

18 and already wanted by a league 1 team - good sign.
