Whether or not it was a penalty I don't know because it was the other end of the pitch to me, but the fact was that the referee - and the linesman in that half of the pitch - both waved play on and play continued until the ball went out for a Barnsley throw in. At this point the linesman at the far end of the pitch starts waving the flag and tells D'Urso to give a penalty for deliberate handball.
As for Blackwell not seeing the Ehiogu-Anderson incident thats simple. Ehiogu was being a c*nt from the kick off and Anderson gave him a nudge or two back waiting for a free kick to be taken. From what I've heard Ehiogu punches Anderson in the face and Anderson headbutts Ehiogu, fair enough, two reds. But from what I thought I saw the two began tussling, then Ehiogu headbutted Anderson then Anderson shoved him or something. Either was Ehioghu started it. Prick.

Barnsley striker Iain Hume is understood to have been moved to a high dependency unit in hospital after being treated for a fractured skull.
The Canadian was injured in Saturday's South Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United at Oakwell.
His condition deteriorated on Sunday and he was taken in for surgery.
The 25-year-old was hurt in a clash with Sheffield United skipper Chris Morgan as both challenged for a header in the first half.
Morgan, who started his career at Barnsley, was booked for the incident by referee Andy D'Urso.
The Blades went onto the game 2-1.
I didn't even need to read this whole report to know that it was Chris Morgan who'd be involved!

With head injuries it's not always clear at first that something is wrong. Very dangerous things they are. Get well soon Ian

.... tis starting to sound really bad, as Davey complained to the ref. at half time about Iain Hume being persistantly elbowed....

It was on Calendar tonight and it was clearly deliberate. Morgan should be banned for violent conduct. He intentionally elbowed Hume before they went up for the header it was sickening.
