Michael Kightly has given Wolverhampton Wanderers a timely boost by declaring himself fit to return for this Saturday's game against Coventry City. The 22-year-old winger strained a hamstring in the 3-0 home defeat by Reading on 30 September and missed the 3-1 defeat at Swansea four days later. But Kightly is now back in full training and keen to play. "The recovery's gone well," he said. "It's feeling really good. I'd have been available for a midweek game." The England Under-21 international is also looking forward to working in tandem with loan signing Carlos Edwards, signed following the bad hamstring tear suffered by Kightly's fellow winger Matt Jarvis the same night. "I feel for Jarvo," said Kightly. "But we've got a strong squad to try and cope with injuries and the gaffer has brought in a good player in Carlos Edwards." It could mean a change of flank for Kightly, given that the equally adaptable Edwards is more accustomed to playing on the right, both at Luton and Sunderland. But he added: "I've played on the left many times before so if I'm in there again that's no problem." Wolves had all of this season's first-choice frontline missing at Swansea. And now it looks like they should have three of them back to face the Sky Blues. As well as Kightly's return, top scorer Chris Iwelumo due to return after suspension and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, on the bench for England U21s last Friday night, has recovered from his knee injury. Woop Woop Lets win another 8 in a row and take this title! WE ARE WOLVES

Jody Craddock and Matt Hill are likely to return to full training with Wolves in the next few days. Craddock suffered a broken metatarsal during the match against Sheffield Wednesday on 16 August. Hill sustained medial knee ligament damage in training just after joining the Championship club on 1 September. Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has said he is hopeful both players will be ready to resume full training by Monday 20 October. McCarthy said: "Craddock's foot is OK but he was jogging the other day and went over slightly on his other ankle but that's not a problem. We've got a lot of games coming up in a short space of time so to have them back training will make a difference Mick McCarthy "I watched him running yesterday and he should be available to us next week. "Matt is twisting, turning and kicking balls again and is also progressing, so by Monday we're hopeful he will be training. "If not, it might be two or three days, but that's all. "We haven't really had him available yet, so it's good to have another first-team squad member back and fit, because we know he can play. "They won't be available immediately for the first team but we've got a lot of games coming up in a short space of time so to have them back training will make a difference." Looking good, if we can keep our first 11 fit throughout, i'm confident we'll finish top 2.
