Sheffield United trialists Ian Harte, Seb Carole, Kiki Musampa and Quinton Fortune will on Friday learn whether they have a future at the club. Former Leeds pair Harte and Carole, ex-Manchester City midfielder Musampa and ex-Manchester United winger Fortune have all been on trial and Kevin Blackwell will make his mind up before the weekend. Blackwell said: "The staff and I will make a decision on them on Friday. "They have done ok and, although I'm looking for a bit more than that, they have another day to impress enough to persuade us. "It's only fair that they get a good crack of the whip because it can take two or three days to settle in and get used to the pitches, coaches and other players. "That's the way it is for triallists. I'm looking to improve on what I've already got, so you keep trawling in the hope of uncovering a diamond." ----------------------------------------------------- anyone heard anything?

I don't think we'll end up taking any of them. Like Blackwell said trialist have to be brilliant to get taken on.
