[shadow=red,left,300]UNBELIEVABLE!![/shadow]You can say that again . Truly Noel Hunt is a **** pleading for the goal to be given. Just catch the goal on SSN or on the Championship tomorrow. You will not believe your eyes. The ball was flicked on in the box over the dead ball line before this Hunt **** dragged it in with the lino waving for a goal. Absolutely shocking. We dominated the game for the most part with Demerit gifting the penalty aa soft fall from Long. O'Toole & Hoskins linkled up well & Hoskins held up the ball well with the ball into feet as did Smudger. Harley had another great game an excellent acquisition. More injuries though. Poom, McAnuff & an appalling hack on O'Toole. We really are into the bare bones department at present but nonetheless should have taken all three points today. Aside from Hoskins we have no strikers at all if you inc.Smith. Robinson(wrist) Henderson (calf) Rasiak (shoulder) Priskin (thigh) plus no Sadler & Francis & Williams long term doubts. All the Reading players & fas knew it was not a goal (decent lot though) & should have given the goal back to us. Sadly not to be . Remember the Blades v Arsenal ?

Harsh, harsh!!
Seems like when You are up the top, You get those sort of decisions, and when You're down the bottom, they will go against You.
Feel sorry for Watford, and Reading should really have allowed Watford to run up the other end and score IMO.

Disgraceful decision. How exactly did the linesman see that ball cross the line?

Does seem a no brainer for both clubs really, risk losing 1 point for the sake of gaining 2.

The just result would be for the FA to give us the points they took off the scum to be fair.

Football league minutes ago said this will not happen. 'The ref's decision is final and is binding.' Tbh, the incident inspired us to play better and i'm happy with a point. We've got loads of injuries anyway! The sooner goal line technology is brought in the better, why the hell not? If not that, then at least get a lino in each half.

then at least get a lino in each half. Agreed, most of them in this division are fat bastards and are never in line with play when making a judgement.

It was so far away from the goal line (as in not actually in the goal) I'm not certain that the technology would have registered that one. You'd think the officials would have noticed that nobody was either celebrating or appealing?

The ball was flicked on in the box over the dead ball line before this Hunt **** dragged it in with the lino waving for a goal. Absolutely shocking. Was he asking for the goal to be given or did he think a goal kick had been given and ask for a corner? Giving the goal back would have been sporting, but at the same time, when even Boothroyd says he didn't blame the players and Coppell said he wouldn't mind re-playing the match......

I don't think you can blame the players as there was so little opportunity to get their heads around what had happened as there is just no precedent for it. In comparison, I was at a game in Yeovil a few years ago when their midfielder slipped when passing the ball back to our keeper after we'd cleared it so a Yeovil player could get treated. As he slipped he lobbed it and it cleared the keeper and went in. No hesitation, they gave us a goal straight back and the game carried on (it was a weird event). That is clear cut, but this one is just way off centre...

I was looking for the Argyle goal but found this. Look at the linesman. Should he have missed the penalty?!?
