New loan signing Martin Cranie could make his Charlton debut, while Lloyd Sam has recovered from a knee injury.
Zheng Zhi returns after his exertions at the Olympics with China, but Linvoy Primus is not yet fully fit following his loan move from Portsmouth.
Wolves have no new injury problems, but George Elokobi faces a lengthy spell out after undergoing surgery to repair knee ligament damage.
Goalkeeper Matt Murray has returned to training following 15 months out.
Mick McCarthy has backed his Wolves players to cope with the pressure of being Championship leaders as they prepare to take their unbeaten start to Charlton.
Wolves resume action at the Valley, after a two-week break top on goal difference, anxious to protect their unbeaten start.
Boss McCarthy knows while his side are there to be shot at, his players’ confidence will be boosted.
He said: “The fact we’re top and unbeaten, we’re there to be kicked at and they’ll all be trying to do it. The fact we’ve had a good start and are top of the league gives us more confidence and belief in ourselves. We’ve won 4-1 and 5-1 in our home games.
“This season we’ve got a good squad, a good staff and everyone is working their socks off to do better than last season . I take the view that we will.”
Charlton are aiming for three successive home wins and McCarthy stressed that tomorrow’s test will be difficult – especially after their last gasp 3-2 win at the Valley in March.
He said: “It will serve to make them do better against us. I don’t know when Charlton away became anything other than a very tough game.
“If we get anything out of tomorrow, I’d be thrilled because they’re a good side.
“Everyone saw the game at their place when it was nip and tuck all the way and we won it in the 94th minute.”
