Apparently we rejected a bid from Fulham on deadline day for Adam Lallana. Good that he's signed a new contract, so that we get money for him, when he eventually gets sold. We are producing these gems on a conveyer belt.

Southampton head coach Jan Poortvliet said he has been impressed with Adam Lallana's fighting spirit.
Poortvliet told BBC Radio Solent: "It's a shame for a lot of players that Adam, with all his technical skills, is also the player with the most heart to win."
The 20-year-old forward has been the subject of reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur although Saints have denied there has been any approach.
The club rejected a bid in the summer from Fulham.

True that, our best player by far.
