Carling Cup - Leicester 1 Stockport 0 We were crap, esp first half. An appalling game and it only really took the sending off of one of their players for us to get some sort of tenuous hold and play out a very dull 1-0. The game and result far overshadowed of course by Joe Mattock getting stretchered off - not as bad an injury as first thought, but out for several weeks - get well soon! We were through to the next round where we'll no doubt go crashing out at Craven Cottage. Never mind. League - Stockport 0 Leicester 0 Only listened to this one. Scrappy first half, all over them second half with multiple chances that did not find the net. Disappointing not to win in the end but win at home, draw away your doing ok. Not a bad start to the season and we're 3rd. 3 clean sheets in a row, Leeds showing some chinks in their armour, things are looking promising. Just need to sort out the finishing! Hartlepool away in the JPT - tough!

...its because we've not lost yet and I'm having withdrawal feelings for it...and there aren't a whole bunch of Stockport fans who are going to contradict me anyway...

didn't you lose to them at ER last year too? Well chink or minor catastrophe, the final result was the same, and I'd be grateful for a few more.

There are 2 Stockports? Is the second as much a shithole as the first? Gladly not and its several months before we have to see them again with their crappy 4-5-1 formation. What I don't get is why they call themselves Stockport County....Stockports not a county is it?

Must just be a bit of a bogey side for you...we'll lose some and it'll be a key test to see how we handle it. I think scoring will once again be our problem but we shouldn't lose too many as the defence has seemed rock solid so far even with Mattock's injury.

Might just be another test of Mandaric's patience to come in the next few months. We were sound defensively at the back end of last season and for some reason Marques has returned to the side ahead of Lubo and now we're struggling! We need two dominant midfielders now too; Howson's struggling in a side that has two natural wide men as he's getting less help. I think he'll be on the bench come next week.

I know what you mean mate, everytime i see an ex player on the opponent team sheet i kind of expect them to score past us. It usually happens as well, expect Eastwood to score at Molineux.
