...All summed up in five words per team! It's just my opinion so no need to for anyone to take umbrage And I know I have bet with the Derby lads that Forest will finish above them, which isn't reflected in this but I think we will be fine! ____________________________________________________ 1. Birmingham City – Struggle at first, strong finish 2. Reading – Coppell should do the biz 3. QPR – Moneybags Hoops in good season 4. Crystal Palace – Warnock comes up trumps again 5. Ipswich Town – Away form sorted for Tractors 6. Preston North End – Much improvement from North End 7. Wolves – Nearly men nearly make it 8. Norwich City – Better showing from Glen’s men 9. Cardiff – Bluebirds don’t make top flight 10. Sheffield United – Midtable nothing more nothing less 11. Derby County – New team slow to gel 12. Watford – More disappointment for Hornets 13. Doncaster Rovers – Aiming to emulate Bristol City 14. Sheffield Wednesday – Solid season for Steel City 15. Nottingham Forest – Consolidation in first year back 16. Plymouth Argyle – Green Army should be fine 17. Charlton Athletic – Pardew Out! Rings round Valley 18. Bristol City – Robins no longer surprise package 19. Swansea City – Swan dive averted in time 20. Coventry City – Yet another successful relegation tussle 21. Southampton – Lean times at St Marys 22. Barnsley – FA Cup Semi Finalists fail 23. Burnley – Turfed down to League One 24. Blackpool – Ultimately futile struggle for survival

QPR to finish above Reading. Preston and Ipswich in the Top 6? - Wolves and Sheff Utd. Derby to finish just outside top 6. Southampton midtable. Doncaster -13th? Lower down. Not a bad shout in general, we always finish 7th.

Preston and Ipswich are just hunches mate. If Ipswich sort the away form out they have a great chance.
Wolves may well break the top 6, and FWIW I hope you do. I can't agree about Sheffield United though.

I can't agree about Sheffield United though. Ipswich will probably sort out the away form and than struggle at home, sod's law i'm afraid. Its great to see Forest back to be honest, a fair few midlands derbies to look forward to.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to mixing it with Derby, Wolves, Brum, the Sheffields etc. Planning quite a few away trips. I won't miss Leicester though ;D

I'm going to do a full prediction like this next week, waiting for a few more last minute signings first. Preston... Hmm... who will score the goals for them then, GT?

It's just a hunch Rich! Could have said the same about Bristol City last season.

It's just a hunch Rich! Could have said the same about Bristol City last season. I guess so, I think their leading scorer had something stupid like 7 goals. I found it funny last season, Preston had scored something stupid like 4 goals in 9 games and then beat us 5-1 ;D

Ouch!
To be honest mate, a lot of my list is just guesswork - I don't know about many other squads, but am aware of key signings in certain cases.
Confident for the season? Apparently Calderwood was at St Mary's recently, don't know who he was looking at though.

We also lost 5-0 at sheffield wednesday, 5-0 at hull and 4-1 at home to crystal palace LOL ;D
Saganowski maybe? I heard Forest were linked to him.
I've not really seen much of our new dutch manager and his weird system, because I'm refusing to go to most of our pre-season friendly games... especially as we are playing THREE at home and charging £15 each, so i'm saving my money for our league away games... have forest away last day of the season, which should be fun.

you'd celebrate 14th.
i guarentee we'll finish in the top 6 and if we've not finished in the top 2, it'll be as bad a season as last year.

How wrong was I about Burnley though?! And the Blades, QPR...
