Swindon face triple foreign test Maurice Malpas's men are to face high-profile opposition on tour Swindon Town will face Champions League opposition on their pre-season tour to Austria this summer.
The Robins will face Romanian champions Steaua Bucharest on 11 July.
Swindon will then face Champions League quarter finalists Fenerbahce on the 13th. The final game is against Czech side FC Zlin on the 15th.
Swindon boss Maurice Malpas said: "If I were a player, I'd be desperate to play in those games. I'd be desperate to test myself against top sides."
Malpas added: "The guys who are organising it for me are calling it a 'Champions League' pre-season.
"We'll be there to learn and improve the squad but, by playing against those teams, hopefully they'll have that edge."
Swindon's players will prepare for their Austria tour by reporting back for pre-season training this Friday (27 June).
They will then play eight more friendlies back in England, three of them at home, against Portsmouth on 18 July (1945 BST), Cardiff City on 29 July (1945 BST) and Plymouth Argyle on 4 August (1945 BST).
They then start the new League One season with a home game against Tranmere Rovers on 9 August (1500 BST).
