Sheffield Wednesday have signed former Burnley midfielder James O'Connor on a three-year deal.
The 28-year-old left the Clarets at the end of last season despite being offered a new contract.
Owls manager Brian Laws said: "I am delighted to have secured James. He is a proven player at Championship level and brings a wealth of experience.
"James will bring an excellent work-rate, great attitude, and numerous other qualities to our squad."
Dublin-born O'Connor started his career in England with Stoke City and featured for West Brom as part of their promotion-winning team to the Premier League in 2004.
Anyone know anything about him??

Owls swoop for O'Connor
Sheffield Wednesday have picked up former Burnley midfielder James O'Connor on a three-year deal.
O'Connor's Burnley contract expired at the end of last season and he opted to quit the club after failing to agree terms on a new deal.
A number of clubs were understood to be interested in the 28-year-old, who enjoyed an impressive campaign at Turf Moor.
Sheffield Wednesday have won the chase and O'Connor will officially become Brian Laws' first signing of the summer when the paperwork is completed next week.
Laws said: "I am delighted to have secured the services of James O'Connor.
"He is a proven player at Championship level and brings a wealth of experience to a key area of our team.
"James will bring an excellent work rate, great attitude, and numerous other qualities to our squad."
O'Connor spent three years at Burnley and can also list West Brom and Stoke among his former clubs.

Owls swoop - oh the punnery......

Burnley is where footballers go to die. It's a bit like the elephants graveyard, one day the gaffer comes up to you and say 'Burnley have put an offer in for you', then you know it's time!! So effectively what you've done is raise the dead ...... which is an impressive (but cheap) trick!! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ;D

Burnley are like the SPL, but Celtic and Rangers pay better and automatically win things, so Burnley don't get as good a player......
