Graham Napier rewrote the record books by hitting the most sixes in a Twenty20 innings on his way to the highest individual score in the Twenty20 Cup. The Essex all-rounder, 28, hit 16 sixes as he blazed his way to an astonishing 152 not out off just 58 deliveries. He added 10 fours and had a strike rate of 2.62 runs per ball faced as Essex annihilated Sussex by 128 runs. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/counties/7471312.stm

And his partner had a good knock too. Can't remember what he got but it was good.

Here's to a Warwickshire-Essex final Haha, we can hope. No harm in hoping! Just need to decide whether to take August Bank Holiday off work (assuming I get a job back home) to watch Warwickshire vs Surrey in Pro40.

I'm going to Essex vs Yorkshire FPT Semi-final a week on Saturday. I plan to stalk meet Matthew Hoggard. I wanted to watch Warwickshire vs Essex in the Pro40, but am organising a camp that weekend instead as was only time available really. Got a friend from Chelmsford who vaguely follows County Cricket and so was interested in travelling up. Semi-final, but she's gonna be in Swansea instead! Of all the weekends for SSAGO rally to be.......! I decided this year the FP trophy isn't worth following because we lost to Ireland
