Food, fuel, gas, water, tax increases etc etc.
The answer is to ask Mummy & Daddy for help when needed. I love Mumsy and Pops.

The fuel prices hurt me the most. Luckily I have a diesel 2.0 TDI Golf GT Sport that has 6 gears. I drive everywhere very carefully now and go down the motorway at 56mph with the lorries. I can get over 60 miles to the gallon

Bradford and Bingley about to do a Northern Rock. An American bank have just bought a 5th of the building society to keep it afloat.

Which is very reassuring, especially with the unblemished records of American financial institutions! Amazing how Brown et al have dug one bank out already, and have made all sorts of concessions to the institutions as a whole, yet he's still allowing them to dictate that interest rate cuts sould not be passed on to lenders.

They're all a set of wankers! The cost of living over here has now risen above many of the more affluent European countries, yet our salaries are still miles behind! I dread to think how much more it now costs me and my family to live (food, petrol, gas, electric etc) compared to a couple of years ago!

So, it's been reported in the papers today that MPs (the poor darlings) are having to subsidise their travel expenses because their allowance no longer covers the full cost. Well boo fucking hoo The average working man has to pay his way to get to work - I'd like to know when he's gonna get a discount! Can't believe the bastards are trying to have their expense accounts increased to cover it - more money out of the tax-payers' pockets!
