Cheltenham 2-1 Bristol City Cheltenham piled the misery on to Bristol City as they sent their League One rivals out of the Carling Cup. Steve Guinan put Cheltenham ahead after 23 minutes, sending a looping header in after Brian Wilson's cross.
Wilson turned from provider to scorer 10 minutes later as he seized on a weak punch from City goalkeeper Adriano Basso and volleyed in.
David Cotterill pulled one back in the 37th minute, but could not stop City slumping to a fourth successive loss.
