Stockport 1-1 Accrington Defender Michael Welch salvaged a point for Accrington Stanley with a superb 35-yard shot 12 minutes from time to rescue a point for Accrington. Stockport opened the scoring on 12 minutes thanks to Glenn Murray's neat finish from an Adam Griffin cross.
Murray then shot wide following a Rob Clare knock-down, but Accrington also went close with Andrew Todd's header.
Substitute Sean Doherty could have won the game late on when he shot wide with County keeper James Spencer stranded.
