was discussing this fixture with Imp earlier on.....as much as I want them to beat Chelski, and I really hope they do, I'd also like them to lose one or two key players through suspension and/or minor injuries thus giving the Imps a better crack at automatic promotion. I know that's a tad harsh on Wycombe as I really am rooting for them tonight but I'm more interested in the Imps getting promoted, thus setting up what seems an inevitable clash with Leeds in League one next season.....and then my split loyalties will be severely tested....

Fair point! I hoped Huddersfield and Colchester would pick up a few injuries last year when they played Chelsea I do think this is Lincoln's year, they've just signed a young French striker from Rangers which will hopefully spur them on a bit. I might well be going to Lincoln v Peterborough on Sat

Yes - noticed they've made a signing or two. It's all good. Should be an interesting game on Saturday. although without Keith Alexander there, it'll lose a little spice....

Spicey enough as it is that fixture! They put the home and away fans in the same stand - a bloke at work says he told his wife he was off to do the shopping one Christmas and sneaked off to the Bank. By the time he got there, the only seats were next to the Boro fans - she rumbled him when he went him covered in spit

I didn't watch the game; too busy watching UK TV Gold 2 and Top Gear.....nevertheless, the important question I have is were there any injuries and/or suspensions etc for Wycombe players? Like the "covered in spit" anecdote GT..... Maybe you should take one of those Alton Towers Log Flume polythene body bag things for the game this weekend....
