Bizarre chioce, hasn't managed before, but he is Sir Alex Ferguson's son, so maybe excellent management skills run in the family, lets hope for Barry Fry it's a move that will work out.
Shame about Keith Alexander as he is a proven quality manager at that level.

The turn-around at the club has been totally amazing since he left, so there has to be something in it. Barry Fry stepped down as Chairman in October, they've got some new bloke in now. Who doesn't seem to be fairing much better

Seems strange as Fry fought tooth and nail to bring in Alexander, but maybe he is a nearly man. I want to see Peterbrough do well, as Fry lives in my home town of Bedford and I see him around a lot, and he is a really nice, jovial chap.

I think since Watford's success, clubs are looking for that new Aidy Boothroyd. It's a cheaper option to get an unproven manager as well. I hope this lad does alright, and hope that the fact that Sir Alex is his father doesn't overshadow or make him think it's his given right to be good at managing a club. And I hope it turns out for Barry Fry. He makes me laugh on the local news.

I was the one who made many scathing comments about the board at lincoln, and have had to eat much humble pie. I can't help feeling Alexander's reputation at Lincoln seemed good on the outside, but in reality was doing ok stuff with good players...just my opinion, which can be forthright, biased and sometimes wrong
