Disappointed and Pleased. Yes I'm a man of many thoughts . To start with, Lincoln pretty much destroyed Walsall first half, despite what a Walsall fan will tell me probably, not a lot of the play was in Lincolns half and our two central midfielders, Scott Kerr and Lee Frecklington scored very very good goals. I haven't seen many of the goals today but they will be hard pressed to be as good as these twos strikes. I always fancied Walsall to come back though. 9 points from three games and they hadn't done anything to make themselves look like promotion candidates. They made three changes and I think we struggled to adapt to whatever changes in play they made. (I know very little about the Walsall squad other than Dean Keates) Anyway, towards the end we completely lost our midfield and we looked a bit tired. Reminded me of the county came back on the first day of the season. There was a horrible moment when with just one minute to go (where did 3 mins stoppage time come from, someone tell me!) Our whole team was stood in a line in front of our penalty box while one of their players stood with the ball behind the centre circle, and we looked inept at defending where we had been fine all game. Still better than Boston. Sorry for boring you all.

Lincoln 2-2 Walsall Debutant Carlos Fangueiro grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser for Walsall as Lincoln threw away a two-goal lead. Walsall had not previously conceded a league goal in 2006/07, but went behind when Adie Moses fed Scott Kerr, who let fly with a superb 25-yard shot.
Lee Frecklington then met Jamie Forrester's cross with a diving header to make it 2-0 after 22 minutes.
But Kris Taylor levelled from Craig Pead's pass late on, before Fangueiro netted in the second additional minute.
