Leeds v Chester Leeds midfielder Steve Stone is out for up to eight weeks with a groin injury. Danny Rose and Jonathan Howson could make their first senior appearances, while goalkeeper Neil Sullivan is set for his first start of the season.
Chester boss Mark Wright will be without midfielder Ricky Ravenhill and defender Sean Hessey (both banned).
Phil Bolland (shoulder) is unlikely to feature and Dean Bennett (back) is a doubt but wing-back Kevin Sandwith could return (hamstring).

Leeds 1-0 Chester Eirik Bakke grabbed the winner to secure a win for Leeds against a plucky Chester in the first round of the Carling Cup. League Two side Chester frustrated their Championship rivals before Bakke struck in the 57th minute.
The midfielder helped set up Eddie Lewis for a low shot which visiting keeper Paul Linwood could only slice against his own post.
Bakke then seized on the loose ball to score to the relief of the home fans.
