I am starting to get a little excited now. Whereas I'm not at the point where I'm expecting silverware or European football just yet, but we have started so well. Unbeaten after 7 games including away draws with l'Arse and Chelski, and showing a decent level of commitment to the Carling Cup. I'm aware Chelsea outplayed us today, but getting something from games like that is the difference between success and failure, not to mention the fact that by all accounts the ref was very pro-Chelski in his decision making. If we have the chance to expand the squad in January, and we don't have too many injuries before then, we might finish top 6 after all. Martin O'Neill is a god amongst men.

nice to see you are getting in the spirit embarrossed I'm always wary at the start of the season. We've had poor starts before and finished reasonably, as we've had great starts and flopped later on. But O'Neill is inspiring me with the confidence he's obviously given to the players aswell.

MON has made us solid at the back again!!!!!!Hooray!!!!!!!

Whilst I like most Villa fans went through a stage of hating Deadly, I have to say that on the whole he has done a great deal of good for the Villa. It's time for me to go and get drunk in honour of MON and the lads. Cheerio!! ;D

You can see why a plethora of teams were after Martin (Boro, Newcastle, Sunderland for starters), the man is something of an alchemist.
I have no great love for Villa but I can't say I'm displeased to see you and Martin (always a Forest legend) starting so well. All the best.

Hmmmmm. Well, I don't post anywhere near as much as I used to as I'm alot busier at the moment. I don't intend to do gloomy posts, I just refuse to type any old bollocks to try and be funny.
