Scunthorpe v Aston Villa Scunthorpe defender Steve Foster is a doubt for the Carling Cup clash after breaking his nose at the weekend. But Andy Keogh could make the starting line-up and replace Steve Torpey, who has suffered a knock.
Aston Villa striker Milan Baros could make his first start of the season after suffering a foot injury during the World Cup.
Baros could take over from Luke Moore (knee), while defender Aaron Hughes (virus) is also back in contention.

I can't believe fucking Gregory's in the studio for the SS coverage of this match. What an arse he is. He should be concentrating on his new job anyway surely? Tit.

I know we should win, but I'm prepared for every possible outcome. If you're pessimistic you can't be disappointed.

1-0 to villa. We had a good spell and deserved a goal. Scunthorpe have been decent enough actually. It was a stonewall penalty, I'm glad the lad wasn't sent off, and they were unlucky as the pen was saved but the rebound was dead easy for Angel. Angel's 11th goal in 15 League cup appearances. If his league return was anywhere near as prolific he'd have been knocking them in all over the place.

yay! we arent the only ones to miss pens!! There have been loads of missed penalties this season, so clearly you aren't the only ones......when the rebound's put in it matters not a jot anyway.

2-0, Angel again, and if you haven't seen it, it was an outstanding header.
