Fucking hell. he likes a challenge doesn't he. LMAO !! how amusing ! Villa will need more than Martin O'Neill to put some lead back in their pencils. I can only see this new season carrying on from where the last one left off. Such a shame !?!

Lot of pressure on O'Neill now, he's been built up as the best manager around but he's been out of the management game for 15 months and he's not managed in the Premiership for six years.
As much as I really dislike Villa I wish MON all the best, he is a great bloke and an outstanding manager who will always be held in legendary status in Leicester and I hope he leaves the FA asking themselves why they didn't offer him the job.

Wish Leeds got O'Neill at the time. Quality manger and every team he manages seems to turn to gold.
But no way did Martin take over Villa with no funds supposidly he has nearly 50-70million to spend on Villa.
Lucky b@stards lol ;D

If (as expected) randy Lerner takes over the club I don't see him giving MON 50-70 million to spend at all, it will be a far more modest amount than that. Whatever he's given MON doesn't need huge amounts anyway, unlike O'Leary he can get his player motivated and playing with belief. We'll be far better off with O'Neill but I shan't be getting over excited just yet, he's in for the long haul.

I really like the way you spell aswell, it's like you have your own special language. Yes we're scum. I can't remember though, is that because we have actually won trophies of some value in our history? Although I do admit, I wish we'd have won the mighty Auto Windscreens trophy like you lot did. Now you're back where you belong (almost, I think another drop would suit you) does it make you happy that you can play against the mighty Southend United? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

It's early days, and I will not get excited just yet. But for the love of god, I'd love to know how anyone thought we'd do as bad as last season with a far better manager. I'll stick my neck out and say he's in the top five managers in the Prem, and his influence alone has improved the exact same squad that we had last season. I'm not saying we'll be top six this season, but we sure won't be scrapping to stay up. ;D
