That club is going down the pan....I wouldn't mind putting a few quid on them to go down.

Tis a shame, I like the guy..... unfortunately things are going to get even worse for Villa, there going down! The chairman is a twat and i'm afraid unless a new investor comes forward Villa are doomed and will be dropping to the Championship in the next couple of years....

Kinda proves he can't do a good job unless he has a lot of money to burn, obv at Villa he had none whatsoever but still..

Not really.... he didnt have amazing players and the chairman there has always been a knobhead.... he only spent a lot of money at Leeds because Risdale told him we had it and he helped bring through the youth..... all the best to O'Leary, just hope he doesn't go to Sunderland....

Well a good manager can do a lot from nothing, he spent loads of money at Leeds and got us...close but not quite there. He had good players at Villa, he just didn't get the best out of them.

Not really..... he overacheived first season with Villa.... they are a mid table bunch of players at best..... and again you can't blame O'Leary for spending money at Leeds, the signings he brought in were great apart from ones near the end of his management with us..... top bloke, top manager..... don't remember anyone complaining about him 5 years ago...

He spent money on overrated players, or rather spent more on players than they were worth (Seth Johnson anyone?) Look at Blackburn, Everton, they should be lower-mid table yet they have overachieved. Villa haven't.

Not last season they didnt but in one of the recent seasons they did... and like I said yeh O Leary made some bad signings near the end of his management of Leeds but there is no doubt he is a good manager and I personally give him my utter respect and wish him well in the future....

Me too, hope he does well for himself but for some of his decisions he made at Leeds, i'll never really like him but hope he does well for himself..

Sorry Jimbo, got go along with the ladies on this, O'Leary is a manager who can only do a job when has massive budget like Venables and Hoddle. Is excuses over poor performances would have been laughable if they weren't so pathetic. Villa to go down.
