To be honest the current Arsenal side is good but not 'great' enough to be crowned champions of Europe deservedly. That said Liverpool warranted their success perhaps less than this Arsenal side that to its credit, coasted the group stage and outplayed Real Madrid, Juventus and Villareal (at home anyway).

The keeper situation was unfortunate. If the ref plays on Arsenal go a goal down but at least they still have reliable experience between the goal posts that wouldn't have let in those two slightly soft Barca goals.

thats all true but....

for the both goals he should after be closer to the post to tighten the angles....he didn't for either, the 2nd goal was going wide

Arsenal can have no complaints.

The ref had no option but to send Lehman off. They battled hard but Barca wore them down. And as soon as Barca scored the second they gave a lesson in how to play keep ball.

Not the best of finals but the best team on the night won the trophy.

to be honest i thought he had a great game the defense lacks all the time especially cygan. He had been given no confidence what so ever the only way he knew that he was going to play was for lehman to get injured or sent off!
