5. Dodgy decisions by the officials

Now what you won't hear him say:-

1. I picked the wrong players
2. Played the wrong tactics
3. Under-estimated the opposition
4. Players were useless - no pride and passion
5. Couldn't even get the basics right i.e. passing
6. I'm a crap manager out of my depth and hereby resign

Fair points well made.

Although number 7 of the options he won;t say is:

7. I've never achieved anything in football at any time apart from winning a pepper pot trophy for a pepper pot club. I singularly fail to get to the best out of players on the pitch through a combination of shocking tactics and irrelevant training. I do not have a plan A therefore Plns B through to Z have never had to be considered. I've never known my best 11 and therefore I refuse to bow to pressure from those who know the game when they suggest players for certain positions. I have grown very wealthy thanks awfully to the wedge of cash I get paid despite my appalling record as the manager of England. I think it's only right and fair that I donate my earnings for the past 2 years to Children in Need. I am a C*nt and a muppet and I know that my time here on earth is now short.

A bit conceited, but I'll copy my thread from the Argyle pages:

I re-emphasise my oft-repeated point. Capitalism is killing football.

Holloway is the latest part of the erosion of the ideals that the fans cling to. Just look at the Croatia result? Who wanted to win more? Who had most to play for? Who deserved that trip to the Euros. Who will enjoy it and value it more? Good luck to them. Wayne Bridge can spend the summer practising throw ins from his sun lounger to the pool. By August he may get one on target.
