Glad to see Barry, Dyer, Barton and Woodgate back in.
Is a bit too early for Hargreaves surely?!
And Jermaine Jenas, Stewart Downing and Phil Neville can fork off.

The sooner Darren Bent gets back, starts scoring, the better for Ipswich...

About time I put my opinion on here tbh, seeing as I asked for others. I'm not impressed with Jenas being called up firstly, and believe Kevin Nolan should be in there. Phil Neville again, not sure, although I think he's done well for Everton. Downing I believe has played well, and probably deserves a place, although Matty Taylor is surely worthy of something as well. And well done to Barton and Barry, deserving of their call ups. My first choice team from this squad Robinson Gary Neville Ferdinand Carragher(bit early for Terry after only one game back and haven't seen enough of Woodgate) Barry Lennon Gerrard Carrick (again, Hargreaves is just back) Downing Rooney Defoe

All in all not a bad squad Pete, but i dont think i would go with Carragher as hes lost a yard of pace and looks every bit as cumbersome as Hyppia these days. Seeing as this games a friendly and will be spoilt by countless second half subs id like to see Dawson given a start.

Why has he picked players like Terry and Hargreaves for the squad for this friendly, when it is obvious they're not going to play due to injury etc? He could have picked players like Matty Taylor, for experience.
Because he's a clueless twat thats why!

England starting line up: England: Foster (Watford); Gary Neville (Man Utd), Phil Neville (Everton), Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd), Woodgate (Middlesbrough); Gerrard (Liverpool, capt), Carrick (Man Utd), Wright-Phillips (Chelsea), Lampard (Chelsea), Dyer (Newcastle); Crouch (Liverpool). Rooney 'not fit', like we believe that for a minute Fergie

Murray ahead of Foster? Noooooooo way! Foster has been quality for us and deserves his chance! And as for Lescott, yeah he is doing well, but he ain't a left back is he??

Foster has been better than Robbo recently imo, even if Foster was unavailable, Carson would be ahead of Murray And if Naylor is gonna be up there for the left back position, you might aswell chuck Jordan Stewart in there too.....
