Billy Paynter opened his Swindon account in style with a second-half hat-trick against hapless Bournemouth. Town took an early lead through Simon Cox's fine volley, only for Danny Hollands to neatly level.
Paynter struck two minutes after the restart following a mix-up between Asmir Begovic and Paul Telfer.
He doubled his tally after showing strength to hold off Neil Young and rifle home off the post and got his first ever hat-trick with a tap-in.
